is designed for medium distance use in the field or at the range. Its optical system uses index-matched Hi-Lume multi-coated lenses with a moderate 40mm objective lens to produces views that are bright and clear with high contrast and true color representation, even in low-light. The relatively low minimum power gives users a slight magnification boost while providing a distinct aiming point with the reticle, and dialing the zoom up to 9x brings targets closer without excessively narrowing the field of view.
Covered turrets keep rain, mud, and dirt off while eliminating the possibility of accidental adjustments while moving through heavy brush. The turrets are also finger-adjustable to quickly compensate for changing conditions in the field. Built for a long life in the field, the one-piece main-tube is made of lightweight and durable aluminum with a scratch and corrosion-resistant matte black anodized finish. The optical tube is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for water and fogproof performance in all weather and conditions, and its 1″ main-tube keeps the weight down while also being easier to mount on handguns than large diameter tubes.
